We are tired of hearing about gruesome crimes committed against children in our country. South Africa is a beautiful land and we must show the whole world that we can bring peace to our families.
However, I want to state to all the organisations that exist to highlight the abuse against women and children that two wrongs do not make a right.
The same organisations that fight for the rights of women are silent when women conspire to kill their husbands.
The whole nation is guilty of this because recently Kgomotso Tladi confessed to paying the hitmen who killed her husband.
People Opposing Women Abuse kept silent. It is dangerous for organisations to be seen to be encouraging the abuse and murder of men by women. Some will soon be calling for convicted criminals who murdered their husbands to be released.
The 16 Days of Activism should be used to address the real issues of abuse rather than for organisations to show their one-sided approach to the challenges.
