Superstar Michael Jackson will reportedly travel to Rwanda next year to do charity work in the poor country.

Jackson is eager to improve the country's healthcare and education, according to Africa News.

Kije Mugisha, the deputy director-general of the Rwandan Bureau of Information, said: "Michael Jackson will be here in June next year.

"He is eager to know how many hospitals Rwanda has and how he can help in improving people's health in the country.

"He promised to do what he can afford to do. It could be in terms of equipment or any other help.

"We will get to know much of that when he is in the country next year." - Wenn
