Shane MacGregor, Western Province United coach, reckons the Cape side will still be in the Mvela Golden League next season.

"I have young players with big hearts who are determined to make an impression in this league. The word 'relegation' is not part of our vocabulary because we are not going to be relegated," MacGregor said yesterday.

United, who had a dismal start to the season, have regrouped lately after winning their last two matches.

They hammered fellow newcomers OR Tambo District Cosmos 5-1 in a one-sided encounter at Wynberg Military Stadium in Cape Town on Saturday.

United were in high spirits going into their Saturday's clash after their 2-1 win on the road over GaRankuwa United last Wednesday.

GaRankuwa, who are bottom of the log, played to a 2-all draw against Winnerspark at Olympia Stadium in another match played on Saturday.

In Gauteng, Pretoria University pipped FC AK 1-0 at Eldorado Park Stadium. It was FC AK's second defeat in a row.

Witbank Spurs continued with their fine form when they beat Vasco da Gama 3-2 at Ackerville Stadium.

Durban Stars walloped Bay United 4-1 at Chatsworth Stadium in Durban, in the only match played on Friday.
