A funeral parlour employee has been arrested for allegedly raping his eight-year-old daughter.
The 36-year-old man, who is an avid churchgoer, will appear in the Kokstad magistrates' court in southern KwaZulu-Natal today.
The man was arrested on Tuesday evening at his home at Horse- shoe township.
A police spokes- man said: "The victim pointed out her alleged rapist after her older sister noticed there was something wrong.
"She was taken to a doctor, where it was confirmed that she had been raped," he said.
