Coming clean

I have been on probation at a company for almost three months and at the end of this month the company will decide whether or not they are happy with my work.

I have been on probation at a company for almost three months and at the end of this month the company will decide whether or not they are happy with my work.

The problem is that I am five months pregnant, but it isn't noticeable because I am not showing yet.

Should I tell them how badly I need this job or what?

I want to be judged according to my work and not my situation.

I really don't know what to do.

Worried worker, Gauteng

The only thing to do is to be completely honest with your employers and hope that your hard work and enthusiasm will be the deciding factors regarding a permanent job.

You have to be honest with your employers because you will have to take maternity leave, which is paid for by the company, when you give birth.

Lying about something like this will make them wonder about your honesty on other levels.
