Former Jam Alley presenter and kwaito sensation Nestum has joined the popular e.tv soapie Backstage.
The gorgeous Nestum, whose real name is Zanele Nyakale, started shooting last week.
Backstage executive producer Monde Twala confirmed that Nyakale had joined them.
"We are happy at Backstage to have Nestum on board," said Twala, speaking from London yesterday.
"Her star quality will add value to the production.
"She is young, talented and ready for new challenges as an actress.
"At Backstage we remain committed to training and developing young talent and we will continue to do so," he said.
Nyakale, who is also a Lesedi FM DJ and a member of the famed 999 stable, was equally thrilled about her joining Backstage.
"I have always wanted to be an actress. It's great to entertain people both on television and radio," said Nyakale.
Backstage is flighted at 6.30pm on weekdays.
