Work on a hotel at the Ga-Modjadji rain queen's palace and cycad forest, which had stopped for five years, has started again.
The Modjadji hotel in Tzaneen has received more than R5million from the Limpopo government so that the project could be completed.
It is projected that the hotel would be complete by August next year.
Construction of the hotel, at Kheopeng village, near the Modjadji royal palace, was started in 2000.
It has stood as a white elephant for more than five years because of lack of funds.
