The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints will host the third yearly Miracle Called Christmas pageant at the Standard Bank Arena in Johannesburg on November 25 at 7pm.

Miracle Called Christmas is a festive musical celebration and a live theatrical re-enactment of the birth of Jesus Christ.

It has been designed to appeal to the whole family. One of the notable entertainers at the show is Mzilikazi Khumalo, a professor, and the Soweto Songsters, as well as the Cantare Children's Choir.

Khumalo, together with respected choral music conductor, arranger and composer Richard Cock, pioneered the Sowetan, Transnet Foundation and SABC Massed Choir Festival, which is a key component of the community development activities of the Aggrey Klaaste Nation Building Foundation. Currently the festival is run by Ludumo Magangane, Mokale Koapeng, Danny Pooe and Thulasizwe Nkabinde.

The event's proceeds will be given to Kids Haven, a shelter for vulnerable children; Avril Elizabeth Home, for disabled and mentally impaired children; and the New Jerusalem Children's Home, for abandoned youths.
