He is alleged to have accepted a R500 bribe from an official whose team subsequently won the Absa Cup qualifier for the Vodacom Promotional League.
Though Tiyane will remain innocent until proven guilty, he should not be assigned to matches until the matter has been settled.
Safa must temporarily relieve him of his duties.
