Petrochemicals giant Sasol and the state-owned Central Energy Fund have selected Siyanda Biodiesel as their BEE partner in a proposed 100000 tons a year soya bean based biodiesel plant.

Petrochemicals giant Sasol and the state-owned Central Energy Fund have selected Siyanda Biodiesel as their BEE partner in a proposed 100000 tons a year soya bean based biodiesel plant.

Sasol will hold 37,5percent, CEF 36,5percent and Siyanda Biodiesel 26 percent of the proposed joint venture company.

Sasol and CEF have appointed German global technology company Lurgi AG to study the viability of the project further and will make a decision on the construction of the plant by year-end. - I-Net Bridge
