FC AK president Azziz Kara has called for match officials in the Mvela Golden League to be fair as the race hots up for promotion to the Castle Premiership.

This comes after Bahumi suffered a 2-3 defeat to Dynamos in a top-of-the-table clash at Eldorado Park Stadium on Saturday.

"I always accept defeat when you are beaten fair and square, but it is unacceptable when the match officials are not fair," said a furious Kara.

"People who saw our match against Dynamos on Saturday will agree that we were not treated fairly by the match officials.

"I suspect there is a third force out to sabotage us.

"It is the players who must decide the outcome of a match, not referees. We have written a letter of complaint to the league.

"What is happening in the First Division is disappointing. We need to root out corruption at all costs and also expose those involved."

Andrew Dipela, PSL general manager, said: "The procedure here is that we forward the complaints to Safa when they are sent to us.

"May I also add that at all the Premiership and Mvela games, we have match commissioners who assess the performance of referees."
