Music lovers who have supported the Oude Meester East Comes Alive concert over the past five years will have every reason to smile this Friday.
This is because the people's poet, Mzwakhe Mbuli, is back at the Birchwood Hotel.
The concert is part of the campaign against the scourge of music piracy which, by illegally duplicating CDs and selling them at giveaway prices on the black market, is starving the country's musicians.
Mbuli, supported by other musicians across the country, has emerged as the leading figure in the crusade against music piracy.
Supporting acts at the Birchwood concert will be Zamdingi and Signature.
For these supporting artists, the concert will provide a platform for them to display their talents and to demonstrate why they should share the limelight with the great Mbuli on the country's competitive live jazz scene.
Sharing a stage with a music icon such as Mbuli will hopefully give them not only the motivation to give of their best, but will also allow them to appreciate the honour of sharing the stage with a music leader and visionary of Mbuli's calibre.
If you want to have fun and to enjoy great musical experiences you now know where to go. The Birchwood Hotel is where it will all be happening.
