Last Wednesday at a gala event attended by McGregor, guests were aware of the benevolence behind Aucor Bloem's Reach for a Dream auction.
Knowing that the proceeds were for a good cause, some brisk bidding filled the room while auctioneers Franz Bobbert and Rudi Herbst chanted away.
Herbst's gavel came down at R21 000 - for a bra.
More than R100 000 was raised for Reach for a Dream, which fulfills the dreams of a child with a life-threatening illness.
