The Vhembe community is outraged by a ritual murder report recently compiled by a task team, declaring it a waste of taxpayers' cash.
The team was appointed by Limpopo Premier Sello Moloto after ritual murder cases dramatically increased in the district over the past 10 years.
The formation of the team was sparked by protest marches staged by community members. They said that local police were "incapable" of investigating the ritual killings.
The chairperson of the Makonde Royal Council, Fhulufhelo Nedzingahe, said yesterday: "The task team never even visited us to gain information. How can you release a report if you haven't interviewed the people concerned."
