When I heard that Eddie and Gerald Levert were heading south I bought my tickets without hesitation. My wife and I could not wait to go.
The show began so nicely with a lot of energy from father and son.
They even sang a song by the late Luther Vandros, Dance With My Father Again, and Gerald did a bit of Barry White.
While we were all excited waiting for the latest stuff from the two artists we were hit with a shocker.
They bid the audience goodbye.
I did not understand the idea of singing Vandros' song when they didn't even sing 25percent of their own.
We all sat back thinking they'd come back on stage to continue, but they never did.
Whatever contract was signed never took the interests of the paying parties into account.
Thanks to Metro FM and the likes, I lost R400.
