Pupils at Botlokwa Primary School will no longer be exposed to hazardous conditions associated with pit latrines.

This after the Limpopo department of public works built eight toilets for the school. Speaking at the hand-over of the toilets at the weekend, provincial public works MEC Machuene Semenya, pictured, said the toilets needed the community's protection from vandalism.

"It is yours to use and it is one of the most essential facilities for a human being to have - a toilet," she said. - Selby Makgotho
