This was announced by the association's newly-elected chairman, Xolisa Nohenda, at its provincial conference at the University of Fort Hare in Alice yesterday.
Nohenda said the association had shareholdings, among others, in Cell-C, Telkom, Securicor, Mvelaphanda Holdings and FleetAfrica.
"MKMVA is worth close to a billion rand in these businesses," he said.
"Comrades want everything written in MKMVA's name to be brought back to where it belongs," Nohenda said. - Mvuyo Mati
