I'm not too fond of the churches at all but to say that a painting is 'evil' just because of the pigments used is just silly. Back during the time that great painters like Monet, Masaccio, Da Vinci etc, they didn't have synthetic pigments, They used everything from snailsnot to gemstones to get the colours they wanted. Prepares canvases by boiling rabbit skins and using the resultant goo to coat the canvas, egg-tempera and some very weird things. But the end results are amazing. I like the concept and how it fits with the both the mood and emotion the artist wishes to portray with his art and doing it with his own blood does get you thinking. That is not demonic as demons do not exists, it is quite strange though and maybe worry some.
It's something I as an individual cannot even attempt, but it's the artist's choice and I hope he knows how much to extract without putting his life in danger.
The UN's Huma Rights Act allows people to take risk with their lives, some one weird programme I saw was a man risking his life by using a canoe from Tasmania Australia to New Zealand, what troubled me this bloke had a two year old boy and was a newly wed but he still took such a risk everybody around him knowing what might happen, just when he was about to reach the New Zealand coast he disappeared, never to be found. Personally I think some stuff are worse than what this artist did but I still think its weird but not in a manner to condemn the artist as demonic, when people put their lives daily climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, Mount Andes and walking on robes as high as 10 story buildings without any support. That exactly what I do not understand, what does the word near means? When I was a baby in my mother's back I used to hear telling people with the same scripture,that was near wasn't it. Paul used those words to people who lived thousands of years, maybe 10 or 15 years before Saul of Tarso was Paul the 13th apostle told Peter and other disciples to say those words so what does the word near means. In actual fact Jesus never said you or my mother should use those words, he told his disciples to tell people that and that is thousands of years gone since those words were told to the ancient world yet you who is living in the 21 century tell me to read that ancient saying which not even true, because if it was this world would have ended even before the Tarso convert became Paul.
So tell us what does the word near means, does it mean something hat will happen more than 2000 years to come? Because if that is what you guys including your Jesus calls near then you more confused than I thought. Report Abuse

Then if they are still in my house as some do we go to the 1975 prediction of the end of the world, their teaching that the remnants i.e. those destine to live in heaven who the youngest has to have been 13 years old in 1914, will not all go to heaven before the end of this world, yet they are all dead yet we are still living in this world. I do not get hurt when I am called Satan because the very same people who use that word do not even know what it means, they thing it a person's name, it is a noun from a verb which means obstruct, or oppose which is Hebrew, so in Hebrew the word is used daily meaning people are either opposing or obstructing, eg if we were to read a the Malema saga , or Zille if not Tokyo opposing Zuma that word will be used and it does not mean anything sinister. Same as the word Devil it is take from the Greek word Diabolos which means accuser, so right now WordofGod is a Daiblos I.e an accuser, accessing us to be opposers (Satan), the word diablos can also means a slander. Then doesn't God know that, why then he makes you believe that the end is nearer for you when it is not, as you put it He has a different time frame than us, so why He makes you Gus to work on His time Frame which is far for you and near for you? By the way according to you formula on God's day is 1000 years that means we can estimate his age, he cannot be timeless if 1 day to Him is 1000 years, the earth is 4.5 billion years, we get the time when the universe was formulated and we will be closer to His years. Remember that the dog lives for +- 10 years, it might not comprehend a human living +-70 years, and an ant cannot comprehend a dog living 10 years to these creature our lives could be going on forever . So if God's one day is equals to 1000 years them he is not timeless, don't you think so?

Moffdat,I'm not too fond of the churches at all but to say that a painting is 'evil' just because of the pigments used is just silly. Back during the time that great painters like Monet, Masaccio, Da Vinci etc, they didn't have synthetic pigments, They used everything from snailsnot to gemstones to get the colours they wanted.

MommaC: My daughter's mother is an extraordinary portraitist and uses the techniques and materials used by the "old masters" wherever she can still acquire the often very strange things. Prepares canvases by boiling rabbit skins and using the resultant goo to coat the canvas, egg-tempera and some very weird things. But the end results are amazing. Nothing occult or sinister about it at all. One gets a sheen with egg tempera that simply cannot be reproduced with modern materials.Report Abuse

I like the concept and how it fits with the both the mood and emotion the artist wishes to portray with his art and doing it with his own blood does get you thinking. That is not demonic as demons do not exists, it is quite strange though and maybe worry some.
It's something I as an individual cannot even attempt, but it's the artist's choice and I hope he knows how much to extract without putting his life in danger.
The UN's Huma Rights Act allows people to take risk with their lives, some one weird programme I saw was a man risking his life by using a canoe from Tasmania Australia to New Zealand, what troubled me this bloke had a two year old boy and was a newly wed but he still took such a risk everybody around him knowing what might happen, just when he was about to reach the New Zealand coast he disappeared, never to be found. Personally I think some stuff are worse than what this artist did but I still think its weird but not in a manner to condemn the artist as demonic, when people put their lives daily climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, Mount Andes and walking on robes as high as 10 story buildings without any support.

Bra-MafuthaThat exactly what I do not understand, what does the word near means? When I was a baby in my mother's back I used to hear telling people with the same scripture,that was near wasn't it. Paul used those words to people who lived thousands of years, maybe 10 or 15 years before Saul of Tarso was Paul the 13th apostle told Peter and other disciples to say those words so what does the word near means. In actual fact Jesus never said you or my mother should use those words, he told his disciples to tell people that and that is thousands of years gone since those words were told to the ancient world yet you who is living in the 21 century tell me to read that ancient saying which not even true, because if it was this world would have ended even before the Tarso convert became Paul.
So tell us what does the word near means, does it mean something hat will happen more than 2000 years to come? Because if that is what you guys including your Jesus calls near then you more confused than I thought.

Then if they are still in my house as some do we go to the 1975 prediction of the end of the world, their teaching that the remnants i.e. those destine to live in heaven who the youngest has to have been 13 years old in 1914, will not all go to heaven before the end of this world, yet they are all dead yet we are still living in this world. I do not get hurt when I am called Satan because the very same people who use that word do not even know what it means, they thing it a person's name, it is a noun from a verb which means obstruct, or oppose which is Hebrew, so in Hebrew the word is used daily meaning people are either opposing or obstructing, eg if we were to read a the Malema saga , or Zille if not Tokyo opposing Zuma that word will be used and it does not mean anything sinister. Same as the word Devil it is take from the Greek word Diabolos which means accuser, so right now WordofGod is a Daiblos I.e an accuser, accessing us to be opposers (Satan), the word diablos can also means a slander. We should remember that before that bible was translated in Latin it was written in both Hebrew and Greek Aramiac languages. I am asking you to make me understand, the way you understand Matt 3:2 how is word used in that scripture relate to us, as it was Jesus telling his disciples more than 2000 years to go and tell people to repent because the kingdom of heaven is near, why was it nearer 2000 years ago and still near thousands of years later. Then doesn't God know that, why then he makes you believe that the end is nearer for you when it is not, as you put it He has a different time frame than us, so why He makes you Gus to work on His time Frame which is far for you and near for you? It's like giving a 2 month baby meat to eat, don't you think so, because you and those dead people who Jesus made to go around and tell people a wrong time frame are been made to think it is nearer when it is not according to our time frame, something is wrong.
By the way according to you formula on God's day is 1000 years that means we can estimate his age, he cannot be timeless if 1 day to Him is 1000 years, the earth is 4.5 billion years, we get the time when the universe was formulated and we will be closer to His years. Remember that the dog lives for +- 10 years, it might not comprehend a human living +-70 years, and an ant cannot comprehend a dog living 10 years to these creature our lives could be going on forever . So if God's one day is equals to 1000 years them he is not timeless, don't you think so?
