It is indeed with regret that this death accident has to be a result in a braekdown of a relationship between the employees and employers in this manner. But at the same time one cannot undermine the faith of the hard working employees with the hopes of improving their socio- economic lives that is always betrayed by the greediness of the capitalists, who always fail to acknowledge the contribution of the work force masses for their self embetterments , in sharing the resultant production of hard work to which both parties sacrifised their lives to its existance.
The Zambian govt , like other african govts might be more worried at this time by the shake in their famous peaceful reputation to foreign investors , following this incident. But the fact of a matter is , this should be a learning curve to the govt for the future, while negotiating and enticing the foreign investors to make it their priority ,to balance the welfare of the workers , according to the labour practice law that considers the living wage against the job risk and indeed whilst maintaing the peace of the country and investors. As none of these is less important than the others.

Sad indeed - when are Africans going to start running / determining their own destiny?. Are Africans going to stay in a state of being perpetually subordinates of other nations?
