This is what Manto was warning SA about all those years when TAC was pressurising her to implement ARV treatment, now you see it and it is too late.

The basic and logical approach in questioning the treatment of this pandemic was widely critizised by the stereotype minded people and backed by multinational enterprise captains. As a country and maybe the entire continent we will suffer from this ignorance syndrom of scrutinising the illness. Mbekirism theorical approach was that in parallel to what we are doing lets' also investigate the most reasonable, logical and economical methodology to addrees this disease. Manto's advocacy was not incorrect however needed a simpler way to unpact it and investigated further. Similarly Mr Mugabe questioned the long term effect of genetically modified food to african masses and he was critisised without scope and context. Short term solution are known to have major impact than non attempts.

Guys, am sorry I cannt find the logic on your arguements, In the scientific orientated world facts should be or are evidence based than unproven ideation or empty noices at the expence of time when we are busy loosing millions of our own people.
Those theories of Manto, Mbeki an Mgabe, were just empty rhetorics, and if nation were contineously entertaining them, millions would still be dying today. But in contrast today with this trials and evidence based on arvs use, newborns from hiv positive women are born negative, Hiv positive people on arvs are living longer , even much better compared to cancer patients, the risk of virus chances being spread to infect others by those hiv positive and on arvs is very minimal/ less as per current research, so our world is gradual getting a better and hopeful world again with longer life expectency.
Why then should people have wasted their time with their lives listerning to political rhetorics without life saving solutions , who only cared about saving money to use it for alcohol, than saving lives of the people who are the measure corner stones of the working forces, economy, tax payers and money making population? Today even if the drugs are not absolute but these people are living healthy lives, working with hiv, paying tax like me and you . Their future is much better with a lot of hopes than those who lost their lives in the battle against pandemic under those fake commanders, who had no vision or solution than silly denials.

Politicians should mind their knowledge limit , especial when it comes to science and medicine , cause politics is all about noice and peddling lies, whereas science neede evidence.

it is so funny that we see a persons perspective to be right after they have passed on, just like julius malema on the issue of the mines we think he is stupid but after years that is when we will see that we are being lied to and fooled by people who are given big tenders intenationally to distribute this drugs to us africans, the plan is to make money and they dont care whether we die or live.AFRICA IS ON ITS OWN
