I think there should be no drug that is prevented from coming to public for preventing HIV AIDS(other than when it results in long term negative side effects which would itselt be deadly),because this may help those who struggled to a regular use of condoms, e.g suger Daddies, they often have large sums of money, but like flash on flash when it comes to sex.
So, this could be an opportunity to minimise the rate of infection contributed by these sugar daddies to our young beutiful girls... Report Abuse

truvada is been long used as part of ARVs concoction and some patients already are resistant to it, so imagine meeting a girl/boy who is already carrying this resistant strain and you using truvada as protection.....that will be the day you contract a RESISTANT HIV....and remember at some stage you will be tested and then put on ARVs which will not work, because of the resistant hiv strain and it may take long and might be too late before someone think of doing resistance test..... and remember its also expensive and not routine in SA, so don't play with fire use your condoms till the day the cure if found.
