They can't ditch the austerity measures as that was part and parcel of the conditions of the bailout from the EU and IMF, If they try to sidestep the blueprint then Germany will just call in the loan and they will be tanked (along with the entire continent)

This is amazing are we witnessing the return of communism in Europe, I wonder what their influnce will be to African countries...well French speaking countries I suppose. As for greece and its old population I fear the worst is coming because the country is failing to collect taxes!!!

This spells disaster. for the Euro and the whole European economy. Completely ironic that a socialist party is against austerity as the way to get out of debt. Instead they want to try and spend their way out of debt, which is what got capitalist America in trouble.

Am not nypnotised but I know that the masses out there are.I'm talking about folks who complain all year long about the ANC and still vote for it.For the ANC to arrogantly boast that the ANC will rule until JESUS comes it shows that they have a hold on people.

@TheDictator i fully agree with you but it's shame that ANC is full of corrupt members and the people will still vote for them. i have been following debate between the two candidates...can you imagine how Zuma can make a mockery out of that debate? He will be expose for the fraud he is, it's a shame his fans don't se it that way. I'm using the word fans loosely because his supporters embraces mediocrity and they don't see anything wrong with it.

The cause of the recent problems worldwide is the fraudulent operations of US based banking syndicates like JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs who sold subprime derivatives rated as "Triple A" to unsuspecting pension fiunds, Municipal Councils and countries like Greece. They have the power to whip even the EU into line and demand that the Greek people pay for debts incurred by ciorrupt banks, who incurred these debts through reckless trading and fraud.
This is the first nation with the courage to say NO! to the banking cartels and let us hope many more will follow and refuse to pay-back these illegal loans.
The US based monopolistic Capitalist system has failed and it is time for intelligent people to start looking at alternaive systems, because Stalinism failed that does not mean that Communism as a whole is a failure. The greatest success stories in the world today like China and Vietnam are still have a solid Communist base.
Remember who caused the crash of 1929 - Goldman Sachs and US Capitalist system are we going to tolerate this forever.
