@Dzel....Boko Haram is monster created by the corrupt Nigerian political system.Jonathan and his cronies deserve Boko Haram. It is extremely unfortunate however that the Boko Haram idiots are killing innocent civilians instead of killing politicians. If they were killing Nigerian politicians i will fully support them but they have been targeting policemen, soldiers, traders e.t.c in the Northern part of Nigeria.
We in the Southern Nigeria have our own cultural militias and if they dare venture south a civil war will erupt. Report Abuse

@ Dzel - I'm not a Nigerian but often visit Lagos on business so have a vested interest in what happens there, so hopefully this answers your questions.
In a nutshell they are a bunch of muslim extremist gangsters trying to hi-jack Nigeria's rapidly expanding economy, while hiding under the 'peaceful???' cloak of Islam. Otherwise known as = 'People committed to the propagation of the Prophet's teachings' or more commonly 'Boko Haram' (direct translation from Hausa language is - 'Western education is a sin'). They do not accept man-made law and want to change constitutional law in Nigeria to sharia law, in effect using fe_ar and vi0lence to take the country back 2,000 years.
Their religious fanaticism and gre_ed prevents them from being rational with any thought processes. So they don't see their fellow Africans as brothers and sisters like you and me but as 'kāfir' (infidels or unbeliever) and therefore the en_emy who should be kil_led.
Just like al qaeda and most muslim terr0rist organisations they are extremely cowardly and dont have a recognised and easily distinguished structure. This makes them hard to locate, stop and eliminate. How do you prevent these cowards, who hide in the shadows - behind women and children, from continuing these attrocities? Report Abuse

@ ProudlyNigerian - Goodluck Jonathan may not be the best president the country could have at this time and is definitely out of his depth politically. He really became president by default after Yar'Adua's death and definitely rigged a few votes in the North at the last election, but he is better than most African leaders - you must admit?
Either way, it still doesn't give anyone the right to wage a cowardly w@r on innocent civilians - let us hope they don't ever venture South!
