Saudi man advertises son on Facebook for $20m

When a Saudi businessman's financial situation became a bit more than dire, he decided that he would sell off one of his supposed prized possessions - his son, for a whopping $20 million

Saud bin Nasser Al Shahry was forced to close down his debt-collecting firm as it was ruled illegal by courts - and getting help from the Labour Office proved uneventful.

Al Shahry took to Facebook to solve his financial problems. He placed a Facebook ad, advertising his son for $20 million. 2OceansVibe site, says that, according to him the sale would provide “a decent life to his mother and sister rather than living in poverty.” If that isn’t blatant favouritism I don’t know what is.

2OceansVibe goes on to say that "apparently Al Shahry is ready to make the deal official by taking the sale procedures to court, his only stipulation is to know in which city the purchaser resides. So technically he’d be more than happy to sell his son to a known deviant, as long as he knew in which city his son would be subjected to kiddy fiddling."

Child trafficking is illegal in Saudi Arabia and the country has been“repeatedly blacklisted by the United States as a prodigious human trafficker.”
