Zim politician's wife dies in hospital

A woman has died in a Johannesburg hospital almost a week after her Zimbabwean politician husband shot her before committing suicide, Gauteng police said.

The woman -- named by the Zimbabwe Online Press as Emily Chiota -- died in hospital on Saturday morning, spokeswoman Captain Kim Cloete said.

Last Tuesday Chiota, accompanied by a police officer, went to her estranged husband Justine's house to deliver a protection order.

He opened fire on them, wounding his wife in the upper body and narrowly missing the policeman, before turning the gun on himself.

Justine Chiota was the founding member of the Zimbabwe People's Party.

On Tuesday, Lt-Col Lungelo Dlamini said the protection order related to domestic violence.

@MSKink: How else can I avoid being delirious if a Tswana chick is in the house? I love these chicks. They are really good to show off around (though they easily tire in bed). Where is Kuku today? She should be the other one. I will now stick to one partner, Somaaa. I will provide supplementary services/ filling the cup if left half full.

It has to. You think the comments that they post here about foreigners aren't sensitive. I am simply dishing back the same to whoever does the same. No apologies.

@muhnu........ jealous........... you are delirious, just like old b@lless Bob.... Even if you were the last man on earth, I would never touch you with a 10ft pole.

You might find us (tswana women) appealing..... but we would rather do a DIY than roll in the hay with you..........

@Maninthemirrow I can assure you the Indian (Asian) & Euro kweres create own employment and from their business provide jobs for the locals, and are not occupying RDP houses, this is what the issue is not whether they are our neighbours yes or no they are non contributing to the tax and yet consume most from it, this is what the fight is about,

wena Munhu please sit down!!!

Bathong what's wrong with you....we have makwerekwere everywhere, you should also go to Capatown and see how many are there from Europe, but you say nothing about them. Atleast the brothers and sisters from Zim are our neighbours. If you have a problem with kwerekwere's, then don't be bias. criticize all of them from India, Europe, America. Others came here 300 years ago and call themselves African and even own more than 90% of RSA land but you say nothing. So leave the Zim Zim's alone bathong and get a life.
