COPENHAGEN -Denmark's foreign ministry says that seven Danish hostages, including a family of five and two crew members, have been released by Somali pirates after more than six months in captivity.
The Danes were captured in the Indian Ocean on February 24 while sailing around the world in a yacht.
The ministry said yesterday the family, including three children between 12 and 16 years, and the crew members were safe and on their way back to Denmark.
