I think the issue here is that he sold the rights to SABC. By the way, for legends like Mandela, the SABC, as a state broadcaster should have material in its archives, to be aired as a tribute, should anything happens to him. It is a standard practice in most countries, but in this case, the SABC is going to benefit because all news agencies must buy rights from it to broadcast the funeral.

Moletjie, if you enter into the westernalised marriage, the law does not allow you to enter the polygamy (traditional/cultural) without the 1st w.i.f.e`s consent. So the 1st w.i.f.e want them to be divorced (share thier assests) before he is allowed to marry his 10 wives. I said it is standard practice for State broadcasters to have a documentary, in their archives, in this case, which is referred to as Project M because Mandela is an icon. Firstly, I am not sure, if the SABC, we able to afford the price, as it was in the red. If it paid Mandla the money, more heads are going to roll.
