R500m boost for industrial park

THE government's drive to revive economically depressed areas has received a shot in the arm following a decision by Nestlé SA to expand its production at the Babelegi industrial township at Hammanskraal, north of Pretoria.

According to my gran dad, Babelegi insutrial was the feeding mother of Hammaskral community.

Hope nestle never give up on these Project to restore those ghost town

ANC destroyed everything in the former Bophuthatswana, in this context I refer to industrial parks from Babelegi to Ga-Rankuwa to Mogwase just to name the few. There were subsidised by the former government to create employment (which is abundant) at that time. Mangope build a railway lines to connect this industrial parks with the main Transnet lines.

People can say whatever they can say about Ngopes, he had a master plan……

I would like to congrodulate Nestle for thier well conseted effot on reviving this delapitated indutries. This will boost the economy of the suroundin township. I would also like to encourage and than the DTI on thier support for the kind of projects. More people will be employed if such intiatives are also supported by us members of the public by buying thier products.
