Two CEOs of agencies run by the KwaZulu-Natal provincial government have been suspended for alleged corruption
Under investigation were Nkululeko Luthuli of the Royal Household Trust and Rohan Persad, chief executive of the Dube TradePort, the Business Day reported.
Persad was suspended last week over a cargo handling contract worth R50m a year.
Luthuli, who has since resigned, is accused of spending millions of rands belonging to the trust.
The Royal Household Trust falls under the executive authority of KwaZulu-Natal Premier Zweli Mkhize, while the Dube TradePort is attached to the Economic Development and Tourism Department.

What a hobby. I also want to be suspended. Where/how do I get myself close to a billion rands? Or maybe I must form my own faction before I walk past close to a billion. I belong to the literate faction. I just love factionalism, it always makes me go off tangent. Whether I am typing, talking or driving. I was piloting a motorboat the other day, went off tangent and woke up in an ICU.Report Abuse
