I think that you are tackling KFC without a ball with your statement above. KFC employs multitudes of south africans who otherwise would be unemployed due to their lack of skills. Whilst the incidence is unfortunate and indeed must be condemned we can not now want to taint KFC in that province let alone in the country or KFC as a brand. For crying out loud; these are south africans not americans who played that Music there and as you already know Afrikaans which was the language used to commit the offence is not spoken in America!!! 1. KFC is a franchise. The people who purchase the franchise are the ones doing the 'empowering'.
2. A franchise owner (KFC in this instance) is responsible for ensuring the corporate name is held to the highest level by the franchise holders.
3. If a franchise owner does not enforce the franchise agreement rules then the franchise owner is to blame (just like if Spar sells you tainted meat, it is the franchise which is sued and NOT the individual franchise holder)
4. If the owners of KFC are too stupid, ignorant or lazy to uphold their franchise responsibilities then it is not my fault they are making their name mud.
5. Franchise holders such as Nandos or Burgandies are relentless in ensuring that the franchise name is protected. Why are KFC not concerned at all? Could it be because the parent company ISN'T IN SOUTH AFRICA ?????? Report Abuse

It cannot be an isolated incident, time has come to deal severely with every racist incident in SA. Toleration for racism belongs in the 17th century.
