THE problem of unemployed young people is too big to be solved through a R5-billion wage subsidy, the National Union of Metalworkers of South Africa said at the weekend .
So then bring your idea forward and let it work, for now, enjoy the youth wage subsidy because it showed success in SA and other countries in the world. Report Abuse

Numsa and Cosatu are only concerned about numbers, not concerned about the problem we have in SA. they know that the people coming in through youth subsidy will not be easy to unionise.
Why dont you put and execute a better solution and stop being vocal for nothing.

Bona, we are talking about involuntary unemployment here. The reason why people are not working is not because of the LOW WAGE that companies are offering, but unavailability of vacant positions. Are they saying Private sector can absorb 7.7 million people if they introduce a subsidy?
May be Brett Murray should paint something about Labour Brokers and put it in his Gallery, maybe we will get the quick response.
I am saying this because some of us are sharing our hard earned money with agencies and government intends to subsidise. Why cant they deal with this overdue problem first? This one of the main reason why people take salted peanuts home
Those cadres who are appointed to come with solutions should be recalled because they are not delivering.
