MOST consumer loans with SA banks are being serviced properly, with 54% of individuals and 75% of accounts being in good standing, says Darel Bhergin, a researcher at the National Credit Regulator.
SACP general secretary Blade Nzimande has said that the financial system is facing a credit bubble because of the increase in unsecured loans by the major banks.
