Port tariffs to be eased

PORT tariff reductions will come into effect on April 1, President Jacob Zuma said on Friday at the official opening of the Port of Ngqura in Eastern Cape.

Addressing delegates, including Transnet and government officials, Zuma said manufactured goods would receive rebates as part of efforts by government and key stakeholders to ease the cost of doing business in SA.
