Ok I am confused. The Lady Justice cartoon depicted Lady Justice being held down by alliance leaders with Zuma unzipping his pants s he about to ra.pe Lady Justice. It was commentary on the corruption charges against Zuma being improperly dropped when there were no valid legal grounds for doing so and the decision not recommended nor reviewed by a court of law therefore taking the courts completely out of the equation. This was a miscarriage of justice and still is hence Lady Justice being raped, I am black and take no offense nor do I consider the cartoon in any way defamatory to me both as a male and a black person.
Now instead of releasing the recordings on which the decision to drop the charges was based Zuma is going to court seeking clarity on the definition of reduced records, well if the initial decision was sound Zuma would have released the tapes. Some are saying this is a tactic the delay releasing the records until after Mangaung. I’m not sure if Zapiro should entertain a public debate but perhaps this is an opportunity to debate all aspects including grounds for the dropping of charges, yes Zuma for Zuma this is an exercise in damage control but perhaps it is also an opportunity to nail his a** against the wall and force him to answer difficult question on national TV.

Zuma tapes a 'secret'
Michael Hulley, Zuma's lawyer, yesterday conceded for the first time that he was in possession of the 2009 spy tapes and transcripts, but boldly stated that he would not part with them.
The existence and authenticity of the tapes have been in question since April 2009, when the NPA claimed that it had listened to them. Many, including the DA, have doubted the existence of the tapes or, if they exist, their veracity.
In March, the Supreme Court of Appeal ruled that the National Prosecuting Authority must release reduced transcripts of the tapes to the DA.
But yesterday, citing a 2009 confidentiality agreement between Zuma and the NPA, Hulley said the argument for not providing the transcripts was simple.
"When we made the representations we sought an undertaking from the NPA to say we would like to make certain portions in confidence. There was an acceptance, with nothing from the SCA frowning on this.
"There was no . SCA ruling to say it was ill-advised for the NPA to entertain such representations," he said.
Another tight corner, another secret. So Zuma is ignoring a court order based on a supposed agreement between him and his co-conspirators?

You lamented the fact that Zapiro doesn't draw cartoons of other leaders like Bush and Blair to poke fun at them, and I contradicted by asking you to check Google and verify that Zapiro does indeed poke fun at just about any big personality that deserves it.
As he is a local artist, and Zuma is by just about every measure the worst president our young democracy has experienced I don't think it takes a rocket scientist to see why the shower headed one features in so many of his cartoons.

Ok I am confused. The Lady Justice cartoon depicted Lady Justice being held down by alliance leaders with Zuma unzipping his pants s he about to ra.pe Lady Justice. It was commentary on the corruption charges against Zuma being improperly dropped when there were no valid legal grounds for doing so and the decision not recommended nor reviewed by a court of law therefore taking the courts completely out of the equation. This was a miscarriage of justice and still is hence Lady Justice being raped, I am black and take no offense nor do I consider the cartoon in any way defamatory to me both as a male and a black person.Now instead of releasing the recordings on which the decision to drop the charges was based Zuma is going to court seeking clarity on the definition of reduced records, well if the initial decision was sound Zuma would have released the tapes. Some are saying this is a tactic the delay releasing the records until after Mangaung. I’m not sure if Zapiro should entertain a public debate but perhaps this is an opportunity to debate all aspects including grounds for the dropping of charges, yes Zuma for Zuma this is an exercise in damage control but perhaps it is also an opportunity to nail his a** against the wall and force him to answer difficult question on national TV.
Go for it Zapiro, I am behind you all the way. Call his bluff and expose our president for the bubbling idiot he is.

Zuma tapes a 'secret'Michael Hulley, Zuma's lawyer, yesterday conceded for the first time that he was in possession of the 2009 spy tapes and transcripts, but boldly stated that he would not part with them.

Nyongoyamavenda, apologies I shouldn't be mean, but really, all it takes is about 30 seconds with Google to check your facts.You lamented the fact that Zapiro doesn't draw cartoons of other leaders like Bush and Blair to poke fun at them, and I contradicted by asking you to check Google and verify that Zapiro does indeed poke fun at just about any big personality that deserves it.
As he is a local artist, and Zuma is by just about every measure the worst president our young democracy has experienced I don't think it takes a rocket scientist to see why the shower headed one features in so many of his cartoons.
