THIS ONE WILL GO DOWN TO THE WIRE WITH THE GOVERNMENT AND ANC. OUR BUDGETS WE ALREADY STRETCHED TO THE LAST PENNY AND MORE THAN 60% OF OUR INCOME GOES TO TAXES INCLUDING. CONSUMERS ARE REALLY ON A TIED ROPE AND IT'S SURVIVAL OF THE FITEST, OR RATHER WELL CONNECTED.
WE CONSUMERS MUST STAND TOGETHER AGAINST THESE E-TOLLS, AND CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE IS A POWERFUL MEANS TO DO JUST THAT. NO ONE SHOULD BUY E-TOLL TAGS OR REGISTER FOR E-TOLLS. WE NEED TO TEACH THIS GOVERNMENT THAT WE ARE NOT THEIR CASH COWS WHILST THEY SQUANDER OUR MONEY. ENOUGH NOW !!!
You know the petrol price increase we had today? 13c of it is for another government tax. This time to make up for any loss due to the price increase not coming through fast enough. Now they want ANOTHER tax out of me - like hell. Report Abuse
Please explain the 13c. What tax is that now? Report Abuse

All I am saying is that government please put in place a reliable public transport, because as things are now people do not have a choice in using their cars. Especially from the South. We really cannot afford the petrol and the E-toll. Report Abuse

Seconded comrades, we must be not buy them! Why anyway was this court case taken to the Constitutional Court by Government instead of the Supreme Court of Apeal to oppose the Gauteng High Court Ruling on e-tolls? What is constitutional in imposing e-tolls to the working class? Thats a foul play by Government!!! Report Abuse

The energy department says the increases are partly due to a slate levy of 13.16 cents a litre. This levy is used to recover the monies owed to oil companies, due to the time delay in the adjustment of the petrol pump price.
This stupit Minister must tell her mother to buy this e-toll not us, we are educate so now he must tell her mother to buy the e-toll. You just been given the chair now you rise you're tail for stupit e-toll becarefull Bra. Report Abuse
