You need to learn about culture. Although the culture allows the guy to marry as many wives as he can, but he can only marry one wife in church (the first wife). The following weddings will only be traditional ceremonies...

I only say ignorance can lead to such dissapointments, before agreeing to marry someone you must do a thorough background check hence many artist have sung "take time to know him".I am one inquisitive person and I dig until I am satisfied.

This Mabasa guy just sounds like Keith who married Sophy Ndaba he saw an opportunity and he grabbed it sick enough his wife is also in it NXA

At a certain stage in my life I happened to politically work very close to her, they had been together for sometime, I noticed a certain message in her cellphone I jokingly told her that his husband is playing her as I thought they were married! I noticed something like a ''high school'' lies and behavior, as an adult I knew this was not taking them anywhere!

DJWinner: I do not NEED TO LEARN about culture at all. Because a particular cultural practice is completely out of kilter with the rest of the world I simply will not accept it at the demand of dinosaurs.

Besides, the issue here is really the utter gullibility of soomeone who is an MEC. But then this is par for the course, in your book, I guess.

Maditaba: DJ uses the culture card only when it suits him. A trifle confused.

Haybo; I understand how polygamy works; but that is not even the point here. For example the MEC was not made aware that this business person was married, which is a requirement for you to marry more than one wife. the person whom you are marrying to should not be married under false pretense as is the case here!!!

---------------------------------------------
There's NOTHING to learn from regressing cultures besides zuma only exploits culture cause as a polygamist and as his culture demands that a man must support his family zuma failed, that's why Kate Zuma tanked herself, she wrote how zuma as a man failed her. So don't come here and claim what zuma is doing is culture or you must emphasise whose culture is he practicing cause he ain't practicing mine, maybe yours.

Well then don't talk about it if you don't want to learn about it. I don't know if Zuma failed or not and I don't care. What I know is that there is a lot of people in my home area who have not failed. The culture is working for them and they are happy. I'm happy as well seeing poeple promoting the culture, especially as it is going extinct. This is our culture and we must preserve it for our future generations.

It is not a crime that Zuma is a polygamists. Go to court and try lay charges for it, believe you me, you will come back with a long face.

Majority of SA people voted for ANC and Zuma to be the President of the country. If they are not happy with the way their tax money is spent, they must vote for someone else. The majority is not complaining, they see the necessity of the cultural practice.

The problem with you is that you have no respect for African cultures thats why you call it nonsense, polygamy has been with us indiginious africans for centuries and we have been doing fine with it. Whether one marry one wife or ten wives has got absolutely nothing to do with you. If the parties involved are happy with it I don't see the reason why you must blame it.
