The case against Nkosinathi Msimango‚ the man arrested in connection with the theft of computers at the Chief Justice’s office‚ has been postponed.

Msimango‚ 34‚ is facing charges of theft and housebreaking with intent to steal in the Randburg Magistrate’s Court.
His case was postponed to July 11 for further investigation.

He was granted R5‚000 bail on condition that he does not interfere with witnesses and the investigation.

Msimango is said by police to be "crucial" to the investigation into the burglary at the Chief Justice's office earlier this year. Fifteen computers were stolen.

Chief Justice Mogoeng Mogoeng's spokesperson Nathi Mncube said he could not comment on the case and on whether the office has improved security since the incident.

"We have been advised not to comment on any security issues as this poses a security risk‚" Mncube said.

"Regarding the arrested person‚ we have no comment at this point. We will allow the court processes to run its course."
