Sowetan is looking for young bosses

To commemorate Youth Month each year, Sowetan publishes its annual Top 100 Young Bosses supplement depicting entrepreneurs in various economic sectors.

In 1976, young people took to the streets in defiance of apartheid and their action began a journey that liberated this country from the clutches of oppression. And 23 years after the onset of democracy, young people are fighting a different battle, that of economic emancipation. The Top 100 Young Bosses showcases transformation in the economic sector through entrepreneurship and the gains made by young people to play a meaningful role in our economy and create jobs.

Sowetan is looking for young entrepreneurs to profile for the 2017 supplement.

The young bosses must be 35 years old or younger on June 15th, 2017, and their businesses must have been registered and trading for the past two years. Proof of business registration must be provided with your business profile.

If you or anyone you know fits this criteria please email your details with a short biography of your company as well as a copy of your ID to sowetansupplements@timesmedia.co.za and our research team will get back to you in due course.
