Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan is attending the funeral of ANC stalwart Makhenkesi Stofile at Fort Hare University in the Eastern Cape.
The Daily Dispatch confirmed his attendance while broadcaster eNCA said his deputy‚ Mcebisi Jonas‚ recalled how Stofile was vocal about the ANC going astray.
“He was vocal about the state of affairs in our country and in the ANC ... the leadership can be stronger ... and turn the country around....we are going astray in addressing these issues‚” said Jonas.
