The CEO of Geffen International Realty Franchises was arrested on Tuesday at his home in Johannesburg‚ in connection with the death of his wife Susan.
Police officers reportedly drove through the night to get him to the Boland town on Wednesday.
The couple had attended a company function at the Spier wine estate in Stellenbosch before her body was found in their bathroom on July 24.
While his lawyer‚ Daniel Witz‚ tried to secure an immediate appearance it was confirmed that Rohde will appear in court on Thursday.
