Three people were killed and six others injured in a head-on collision between two vehicles on the N14 between Kathu and the Deben turn-off in the Northern Cape on Saturday evening‚ ER24 said.
ER24 crews in Kuruman and other services attended to the accident.
“Sadly a driver from one of the vehicles sustained fatal injuries. Two passengers from the other vehicle also sustained fatal injuries‚” said ER24 spokesperson Chitra Bodasing.
Two other patients sustained critical injuries and four others sustained moderate injuries.
“The patients were treated and transported to the Kuruman Hospital for further treatment‚” Bodasing said.
