One person was killed in a collision involving several vehicles‚ including two trucks‚ on the R21 Pomona Road in Kempton Park on the East Rand on Saturday afternoon‚ ER24 said.
ER24 spokesperson Chitra Bodasing said other emergency services had also been in attendance at the accident scene.
“Upon arrival paramedics found a man believed to be in his 40’s trapped in a car. Sadly there was nothing that could be done for him and he was declared dead‚” Bodasing said.
“All other patients were treated and transported to hospital by other services‚” Bodasing added.
The number of injured was not specified.
