What do you call two freezing days in Winter?

Prepare to freeze your socks off as snow hits the Cape this weekend‚ and Gauteng’s maximum temperatures only get to the low teens.

On Friday the southern high ground of the Northern Cape is expected to face disruptive snowfalls‚ while possible flooding is expected in the province’s Eastern half.

The snow will also hit parts of the Eastern and Western Cape.

This snowfall heralds chilly weather for the rest of the country.

Maximum temperatures in Johannesburg are expected to hit 16 degrees Celsius on Saturday‚ and 14 degrees Celsius on Sunday.

Mafikeng will be a bit warmer‚ hitting maximums of 18 and 17 degrees for Saturday and Sunday respectively.

Hotazel won’t be hot as hell‚ it will be freezing. Despite the fact that it will reach maximums of 16 and 20 degrees over the weekend‚ on Sunday its minimum temperature will hit zero.

Check out your forecast at the SA Weather Service‚ while scouting out some hot water bottles and hot chocolate.
