Man claims missing MH370 possibly near Cape of Good Hope

The man who runs the website UFO Sightings Daily is claiming he has spotted what could be the wreckage of missing Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 near the Cape of Good Hope.

In a post published on his website, Scott C. Waring said he was looking around the area on Google Earth for an old UFO sighting when he came across a shadow in the water.

"The shadow resembled an airliner," he claimed.

"I use to work on B-1 bombers back in Ellsworth SD [South Dakota], at a SAC [strategic air command] during my USAF [United States Air Force] days. I know a plane when I see one. I certainly crawled onto them and in them enough."

Waring said the Google Earth photo was dated July 26, 2015 and MH370 went missing on March 8, 2014, which meant it had 16 months of moving around.

"I know there is less than 1% of 1% of a chance that this is MH370, but its better than we had five minutes ago right?" Waring asked.

He said he would notify Malaysian Airways on Twitter and asked people to retweet his message.

Flight MH370 disappeared with 239 people on board while on its way from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to Beijing, China.

On Sunday, the Associated Press reported that the man who found a wing fragment of the missing plane on the French Indian Ocean island La Reunion last year, on Thursday found an unidentified gray item with blue border in nearly the same spot.

Johny Begue told AP he handed his latest find to the gendarmerie air brigade in Saint Denis.

AFP reported last week that an American man had handed Mozambican aviation authorities a piece of washed-up plane debris that may also be from MH370.
