SBV Services has put up a R500000 reward for information “that leads to the successful arrests and conviction of the perpetrators” of a cash-in-transit heist in Cape Town on Monday.
The company confirmed on Tuesday night that “an SBV ATM team was involved in an armed robbery while servicing the Standard Bank ATM at the BP Promenade” and “an undisclosed amount of cash was taken”.
“We are warning perpetrators that we have a zero-tolerance for criminal activities and that there will be dire consequences for individuals intending to execute any criminal activity that would place our employees as well as the public at risk” said CEO Grant Dunnington.
