The African National Congress Women’s League will on Thursday “lead an awareness campaign against all forms of discrimination against people with albinism” in KwaZulu-Natal.
The action will be led by the league’s president‚ Bathabile Dlamini‚ and will “include door-to-door visits and a dialogue” in Mkhanyakude.
“Wrong theories and myths influenced by fallacies see albinos being socially excluded and there are allegations that they are also being killed because of these misconceptions‚” a league statement said.
