EFF accuses Malusi Gigaba ‘using state resources to commit adultery and infidelity’

Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) has alleged that Home Affairs Minister Malusi Gigaba may have used state resources to commit adultery, infidelity.

This comes after Gigaba was accused of having extra-marital affair with fashion blogger Buhle Mkhize. Allegations which Gigaba has since rubbished.

In a statement released on Thursday, EFF spokesperson Mbuyiseni Ndlozi claims that Gigaba is 'renowned' for using state's coffers to fund his 'affairs'.

"We do not care much about the Minister’s affairs and infidelity because he is renowned for using government’s credit card and money to buy flowers for girlfriends, breaking people’s families and engaging in unacceptable extra-marital practices," read the statement.

EFF continued to say that they are aware of reports alleging that Gigaba has used over R700 000 of government's money for his personal use.

"If the reports about his infidelity and money transfers are true, it means that Malusi is involved in money laundering and even involves State Security officials to facilitate what is patently illegal money movements."

Ndlozi said the EFF will request an investigation - from SARS, State Security and more - into Gigaba's alleged 'money laundering' activities.
