In South Africa‚ she is working with the Breast Health Foundation. The campaign focuses of bringing palliative care to breast cancer patients in the country.

The Helen Joseph Hospital in Johannesburg will host Herrera and her daughter‚ Carolina Herrera de Baez‚ tomorrow. Since 2013‚ the Carolina Herrera brand has committed R5 million over a five-year period for local support‚ the hospital said in a statement.

The Helen Joseph Hospital Breast Care Centre was established in 2005 to improve direct access to specialist breast care in Johannesburg. The centre manages around 500 to 700 patients each month.
