Land Rights is dispatching mobile offices to travel around the country to receive land claims from citizens who stay in remote areas‚ far from the 14 lodgement offices situated in the nine provinces.

Appropriately named the Gemsbok‚ the mobile lodgement office allocated to serve the Northern Cape‚ Western Cape‚ and the Free State Province will start receiving claims from individuals and communities in the small Karoo towns of Carnavon‚ Van Wyksvlei‚ Calvinia‚ Springbok and other neighbouring towns starting from October 12 till October 30.

From November 5 until December 15‚ the mobile office will service the small towns of Pofadder‚ Kakamas‚ Keimoes and surrounding areas‚ moving all the way to the far northern areas of the Province including Kuruman‚ Batlharos and Tsineng.

A total of four buses and two all-terrain 4 x 4 trucks will be travelling across the country to receive land claims until 30 June 2019‚ as part of the drive to speed up delivery on the land reform programme‚ Land Rights said.
