A relative of the man alleged to be the hitman in the murder of Jayde Panayiotou has been arrested for the murder and house robbery of an elderly grandmother in Port Elizabeth about two weeks ago‚ The Herald confirmed on Tuesday.
Thando Xolo Vumazonke‚ 23‚ a relative of alleged triggerman Sizwezakhe Vumazonke‚ 30‚ briefly appeared in the Port Elizabeth Magistrate’s Court for the murder of Marlene Webber‚ 78.
The case was postponed until September 8.
Vumazonke is currently in St Albans awaiting trial together with Christopher Panayiotou for the murder of Jayde.
